perimeter and area

we've been learning about perimeter and area these past weeks. lets start with perimeter, perimeter is the length of all the sides of a shape for example. if you had a rectangle that was 8 cm long vertically and 4 cm horizontally. to get the answer you add up all the sides. so the answer to that example is 24 cm. Now area. area is the length times the width so if we use that same answer the answer would be 32cm squared

Experimental Probability

What expect to happen mathematically? mathematically you are to expect 100 on each number. What did happen? when we calculated all of our answers and transformed them into a graph we found out that some of the columns were just over the expected number and some were just under. If you make the number higher I.e 6000 the columns will be closer to the expected number.
What did it tell us?

Probability

currently our class 9R have been learning about Probability. so far ive learnt that the top number is 1 and that the number cant go any higher than 1 (which is certain). they are three main key words. Impossible (which is 0). equal and certain there are also other words but they dont have a place cause they mean different things to different people.

if You role two dice what is the probability of rolling double 1s?

E.g 0.3 x 0.2 = 0.6     14.5 x 10 = 145
We have also learned how to use expanded form
E.g  14.68 in expanded form is 10+4+6/10+8/100=14.68
